Reaction is given as the double displacement of benzoyl chloride and sodium peroxide. But, could someone tell me the conditions and possible catalysis for this reaction?
Or if possible, could someone give me an alternative mechanism of synthesis?

Better yet - buy the benzoyl peroxide.
